"For I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me."
(Matthew 25:35-36, NKJV)
Community Outreach
We are HUGE on serving our community! We conduct many outreaches throughout the year. Food drives, distributions of basic necessities, community events, etc. We believe that it is important for the community to know that the CHURCH IS HERE!
Missions & dISASTER rELIEF
Our Mission: To passionately serve communities in need all around the world through outreach and disaster response.
Hands of God conducts one short-term mission trip every two years in addition to coordinating disaster relief trips to serve communities affected by disasters. Our largest team yet was one of 54 to the Dominican Republic. We recently returned from Colombia with a team of 50. The Lord works wonders when we get out of our comfort zones and leave all behind to solely focus on serving Him. Consider joining us on our next trip!
Evangelism Outreach
Every month, we evangelize around our community. We go door to door as well as visit public places nearby. We’d love for you to join us in spreading the gospel!
W.i.n.g.s Ministry
(Women in Need of God's Spirit)
We are so thankful for the privilege to serve families who have been forced to flee their homes as a result of domestic violence. About 8 times a year, we visit two different shelters for battered women and children which are located in a nearby community. The women and children who reside at the shelter arrive battered, broken and hurting. When visiting the shelter, we serve hot, gourmet meals and delicious desserts, and beautifully wrapped gifts for all. Most importantly, we impart the love and compassion of God, we pray with them, and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ!
Our church visits the shelters during Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, Mother's Day. In August, we provide bookbags and school supplies for the children so that they are setup for success as they start a new school year. We also visit the shelters in other occasions throughout the year. We are honored to bring the hope and love of Jesus to the hurting at these two shelters!
